Privacy Notice

Information on how personal data you share through wattica.ai or by contacting us directly is processed, under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). In case of any difference, the Turkish version prevails.

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Wattica Yazılım ve Teknoloji Dış Ticaret A.Ş. ("Wattica") as the data controller.

2. Personal data processed

Through the contact form: full name, company, job title, phone number, email address and the content of your message.

If you contact us by email or phone: your contact details and the content of the correspondence.

When you visit the site: technical records kept by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes, such as IP address, browser information and time of access.

3. Purposes of processing

Your personal data is processed to respond to your request and arrange a meeting, to provide information about our products and services, to carry out pre-contractual steps such as a non-disclosure agreement and a backtest, and to keep the site secure.

4. Method of collection and legal basis

Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact form, email and phone. It is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the Law: that processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, and that processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

5. Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred, only for the purposes above, to service providers we use: website hosting, delivery of the contact form and corporate email. These providers' servers may be located outside Turkey; such transfers are made in accordance with Article 9 of the Law. Where there is a legal obligation, your data may be shared with authorised public bodies.

6. Retention period

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods set out in the applicable legislation. At the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law, by applying to Wattica you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • request information about it if it has been processed,
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
  • know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it has been transferred,
  • request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
  • request deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of the Law,
  • request that third parties to whom the data was transferred are notified of any correction, deletion or destruction,
  • object to a result against you that arises from analysis of the data exclusively by automated systems,
  • claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.

8. Applications

You can send your requests in writing to the address above, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or by email to info@wattica.ai. Applications are concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest.

9. Cookies

This site does not use cookies for advertising or marketing.
